Role Description/Criteria

Applications are sought for the (part-time 0.80 FTE) ongoing position of VCE Administrator at our Mornington Campus, to commence in 2026.

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

The VCE Administrator plays a pivotal role in the efficient management and administration of the VCE/Senior Studies Office. This role requires a thorough understanding of VCAA requirements for VCE, VCE VM, VET, as well as excellent communication, planning, and scheduling skills to ensure adherence to strict VCAA timelines.

The VCE Administrator is under the direction of the Vice Principal – Learning and Teaching and reports directly to the Assistant Head of Campus - Learning and Pedagogy.

MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

The responsibilities of the VCE Administrator include but are not limited to assisting the Assistant Heads of Campus – Learning and Pedagogy (AHOC – LaP) with respect to:

i. VCE administration of the Year 12 VCE, VET and VCE VM examination periods including specific duties as provided by VCAA;

ii. effectively managing the Year 10 and 11 VCE, VET and VCE VM examination logistics;

iii. effectively managing the Virtual School Victoria (VSV) and Victorian School of Languages (VSL) Education by liaising with appropriate external bodies where appropriate;

iv. assisting and supporting the Victorian Assessment Software System (VASS) Administrator;

v. performing other duties and implementing decisions as requested by the Principal or the College Improvement Team.

SALARY REMUNERATION: According to the CEMEA 2022, $78,988.00 - $89,499.00 per annum, plus 12% superannuation.
