Role Description/Criteria

Emmaus College is a proudly Catholic co-educational College in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne established in 1980. The College operates over three campuses, at Vermont South and Burwood. A Senior Campus for Years 7, 8, 10, 11 and 12 in Vermont South, a Junior Campus for K to Year 6 in Vermont South (1.8km from the Senior Campus) and a Year 9 Campus in Burwood.

Instrumental Music Tutor- Drum Kit and Percussion.

Applications are invited from passionate, dedicated and skilled drum kit and percussion tutors for a part-time (0.4 FTE) position commencing from Term 3, 2025. 

The position includes teaching tuned and untuned percussion as part of the Year 8 Band program, private drumkit lessons, drumline rehearsal and a senior contemporary band rehearsal. Due to the nature of the classroom band program, the successful applicant would need to be available to teach on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Please note that VIT registration is not required for this position. VMTA rates apply. 

The successful applicant will be committed to the ethos of a Catholic school.
