We invite applications from a leader who have a passion for learning and teaching and are excited about joining a welcoming community that works together to inspire our students.

This is a full-time ongoing teaching position with the Deputy Principal / Leader of School Improvement tenure commencing in Term 2 by negotiation.

This position is integral to our school and will be responsible for enacting our school vision and philosophy. Working with the leadership team, this leader will contribute to the collaborative decision-making process of our school. They will provide an excellent role model for other educators through supporting and monitoring of learning and building capacity of staff and setting of high standards for students performance.

The successful applicant will:
 

  • be Catholic and committed to the ethos of a Catholic school
  • be able to integrate faith and life within the curriculum
  • be able to support teachers in embedding MACS 2030 strategy
  • be able to support staff in delivering purposeful learning experiences that are differentiated to accommodate a range of abilities and learning
  • have a sound knowledge and understanding of current thinking and research into curriculum, pedagogy and the Victorian Curriculum
  • possess excellent communication, interpersonal skills and dispositions
  • effectively use data to inform the teaching and learning of students
  • be accredited to teacher Religious Education
  • hold current VIT registration
  • have a strong commitment to the ethos of the Catholic school and adherence to MACS updated Code of Conduct
