Selection Criteria
The successful applicant will:
- have demonstrated commitment to the Catholic Ethos, the principles of Catholic teaching and living the school’s vision
- be committed to the safety and wellbeing of all children
- possess the skills and abilities necessary to provide students with a rich and rewarding educational experience
- have demonstrated capacity to promote and enact contemporary & innovative pedagogies and practices
- embrace a collegial, team-based approach to teaching and learning
- commit to the ongoing professional learning and the continuing development of a positive school culture
- have the capacity to communicate positively and effectively with all stakeholders within a school community.
In addition, successful applicants will be expected:
- To demonstrate a commitment to the Sacred Heart Primary School Child Safe Policy & the Staff Code of Conduct
- Hold registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching
- Hold accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic Primary School is desirable; a commitment to obtain accreditation may be considered
Salary is in accordance with the Victorian Catholic Education Multi-Enterprise Agreement and available on the website www.cecv.catholic.edu.au.
