Role Description/Criteria

We are looking for an energetic, creative leader with a passion for working in dialogue with others to make a positive difference in the lives of children.
The successful applicant will demonstrate:
- a commitment to Catholic education, and an understanding of the leadership role in Catholic education;
- a commitment to the safety and wellbeing of children;
- current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching;
- accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school or be working towards gaining this;
- a completed Victorian Registration and Qualification Authority Fit and Proper Statutory Declaration;
- evidence of working towards or attainment of academic qualifications additional to initial teacher education (Master’s degree or five year equivalent);
- relevant leadership experience within the last five years in Catholic parish primary schools, or current experience in a role associated with and supporting Catholic parish primary schools;
- commitment to dialogue, teamwork and the skills to work collaboratively;
- a passion for working with children, dedicated to supporting their academic, emotional and spiritual growth;
- highly developed interpersonal and communication skills and an ability to relate positively with others.
