Role Description/Criteria

St Mary's School is seeking a Digital Technologies/STEM Specialist Teacher (0.2 FTE - Tuesdays) to join our growing school community. This fixed-term position will commence in Term Three, 2025, until the end of the school year.

 

In addition to the criteria outlined in the Role Description attached for this position, the following are key criteria.

Key Criteria

  • Demonstrate a commitment to Catholic Education and the mission of the Catholic School
  • Possess expert knowledge and understanding of current thinking and research into curriculum, pedagogy, contemporary learning and the Victorian Curriculum 2.0
  • Be committed to implement the MACS Vision for Instruction and explicit teaching model
  • Be skilled in the use of digital education
  • Have highly developed interpersonal skills and the ability to build collaborative relationships with all members of the school community
  • Have a strong commitment to fostering team processes and an ability to support, contribute, initiate, and implement change in line with the school's improvement plan and Annual Action Plan
  • Hold current VIT Registration
  • Hold Accreditation to Teach in a Catholic School or be willing to undertake studies to complete this within a three year period.
