Role Description/Criteria
The successful applicant needs to:
Applicants will possess the skills and abilities to foster home-school partnerships, build trusting relationships with students and families and work collaboratively with staff to personalise the learning for at-risk students. The successful applicant will have an understanding and working knowledge of NCCD and the requirements to fulfil this annually.
The position will initially be offered on a fixed-term contract until the end of 2026, with an opportunity for renewal.
Applicants are asked to demonstrate experience in the following:
- developing and maintaining respectful and caring relationships with students, families and colleagues
- a working knowledge of the NCCD and how to effectively meet the requirements and evidence gathering required for funding
- leading professional development in line with the School’s strategic plan and meeting the diverse needs of staff
- working effectively with school staff to support students who have additional learning needs to access learning through planned adjustments and/or learning programs
- organising and facilitating Program Support Group (PSG) meetings
- maintaining accurate records and tracking the progress of students with specific learning needs
