Role Description/Criteria

Selection Criteria
In addition to meeting the requirements of the Victorian Institute of Teaching, the successful candidate will be required to:
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to the Catholic Ethos, teachings, and the vision and mission of Sacred Heart Primary School.
- Uphold and actively promote the safety, wellbeing, and social–emotional development of all students.
- Deliver high-quality and engaging learning experiences that foster both academic achievement and emotional growth.
- Implement contemporary, evidence-based pedagogical practices within a collaborative and professional team environment.
Communicate effectively and respectfully with students, staff, and families to support a positive and inclusive school community.
In addition, successful applicants will be expected:
- To demonstrate a commitment to the Sacred Heart Primary School Child Safe Policy & the Staff Code of Conduct
- Hold registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching
- Accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic Primary School is strongly preferred; a commitment to obtain accreditation may be considered
Salary is in accordance with the Victorian Catholic Education Multi-Enterprise Agreement and available on the website www.cecv.catholic.edu.au.
