Role Description/Criteria

Queen of Peace Catholic Parish Primary School, Altona Meadows, is seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic English leader to join our school community. Staff at Queen of Peace passionately care about children, their learning, safety and wellbeing. English (Literacy) Leader - Position of Leadership (POL2) for 2026 - 2027

The English (Literacy) Curriculum Leader at Queen of Peace Parish Primary School is a key member of the school leadership team, responsible for leading excellence in mathematics teaching and learning across the school. The successful applicant will bring strong curriculum knowledge, demonstrated instructional leadership, and a deep commitment to the mission of Catholic education.

The English Leader will work in alignment with:

  • The MACS 2030 Vision: Forming Lives to Enrich the World
  • The MACS Vision for Instruction and Vision for Engagement, grounded in cognitive science and evidence-informed pedagogy
  • The strategic direction of Queen of Peace Parish Primary School, as set by the Principal and the Leadership Team.This is, primarily, an out of classroom position. The successful applicant will be employed as a classroom teacher with this POL covering the 2026 and 2027 school years.

Remuneration is based on the CEMEA 2022 and experience.
