Role Description/Criteria

Our Lady of Sion College is dedicated to providing our students with excellence in Music and Performing Arts education. To this end, we are seeking to employ an inspiring classroom music teacher (FTE 1.0 – full time, brass and/or woodwind specialist preferred) for a Term 1, 2026 leave replacement position commencing on Tuesday, 27 January 2026 and concluding Friday, 17 April 2026. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Classroom music teaching in the junior and middle school.
  • Teaching small group brass and/or woodwind lessons in the beginner Year 7 Music Program 
  • Ensemble direction (Senior and Junior Concert Bands)
  • Teaching in our Year 6 ‘Sion First’ Music program

 Candidates must have current full VIT registration.
