Role Description/Criteria

St Columba’s College Ltd is a Catholic secondary girls’ school located in Essendon under the stewardship of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and conducted in the tradition of the Sisters of Charity.

St Columba’s College is seeking an enthusiastic and talented Speech and Drama Specialist to join our dynamic Performing Arts program. This is a wonderful opportunity to share your passion for performance, communication, and creative expression in a supportive all-girls’ school environment. This is a casual role (approximately 4 hours per week).

As the Speech and Drama Specialist you will:

  • Deliver individual and group Speech and Drama lessons
  • Mentor and inspire students in the Drama Club
  • Support the College Musical as Acting Coach (until August)

We are looking for someone who:

  • Brings energy, creativity, and a genuine love of teaching young people
  • Has experience in Speech and Drama tuition, ideally with AMEB and VCE preparation
  • Is available on Tuesdays (preferred)
  • Welcomes the opportunity to work in a girls’ education setting

Remuneration

  • $98 per hour (individual lessons)
  • $125 per hour (group lessons)
