Role Description/Criteria

We seek a passionate Performing Arts/Music teacher (P-6) with a strong work ethic to join our team at Holy Rosary School for th 2026 school year. The role is to cover a teacher who will be on leave and is for Wednesdays and Thursdays. 

The successful candidate will provide students with a range of rich and engaging experiences in Performing Arts/Music.

Selection Criteria

Applicants should address the Selection Criteria, include a resume and name three referees, including your current principal.

The successful applicant should have the knowledge and skills to:

 

  • create engaging and innovative learning in Performing Arts/Music that caters to the diverse needs of our students
  • support and implement the practices of PBL (Positive Behaviour for Learning)
  • participate and initiate ways to engage with the community, and to extend and celebrate student learning in Performing Arts. This may include events such as band and choir, sacraments and celebartions of learning 
  • develop and maintain relationships that ensure effective liaison with colleagues 
  • reflect and enhance their own professional growth.

Special Requirements

The successful applicant will:

  • have an understanding of the ethos and traditions of the Catholic church
  • have VIT registration
  • be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
  • Commit to Holy Rosary School's Child Safe policies and the Code of Conduct.
