Administrative Assistant: Wellbeing

The Administration Assistant: Wellbeing is a member of a Wellbeing team whose role is to ensure that the team is able to support the wellbeing needs of the students and create a welcoming environment in the spirit of Strength and Kindliness. She/he is required to possess a spirit of helpfulness and high levels of patience, courtesy, initiative and understanding in a position where there is a great deal of people interaction. 

With excellent communication skills, a high level of ICT literacy and an eye for attention to detail, the Administrative Assistant: Wellbeing will have the following key responsibilities:

  • Providing administrative support and personal assistance to the Assistant Principal: Wellbeing and Engagement
  • Assist with the planning, implementation and organising of events let by the Student Wellbeing Team, including ticketing
  • Preparation and organisation for celebrations and events
  • Support the administration of student wellbeing initiatives and practices
  • Use ICT systems to record essential student information including communication with parents and caregivers
  • On occasion, support Student and Visitor reception, and the Office Manager following established processes as required
  • Provide assistance with First Aid in the Health Centre, as needed and provide support to the school nurse as required. Current First Aid qualifications desirable.

The successful applicant will demonstrate a commitment to the Catholic ethos of the College, with strong management skills. She/he will work with discretion and integrity to ensure confidentiality. The ability to work independently and within a team is vital.

This is a full time, fixed term replacement role, commencing Tuesday 27 January 2026 for the 2026 school year. The position is a Category B Education Support role in the CEMEA 2022.
