Kolbe Catholic College is a vibrant and growing learning community, inspired by our vision that “Everyone Grows.” As we continue to expand with our established St Clare Campus in Greenvale and the opening of our new St Catherine Campus in Mickleham in 2026, we are seeking passionate and dedicated educator to apply for the Deputy Principal position of leadership, commencing in 2026 in St Clare Campus (Greenvale)

Your duties will include:

  • Actively promote and model the Catholic identity, mission, and Gospel values of the College, supporting faith formation and community engagement in alignment with MACS direction.
  • Drive high-quality, evidence-informed teaching and learning, fostering high expectations, collaboration, innovation, and improved student outcomes.
  • Lead wellbeing initiatives that align with MACS frameworks, ensuring a safe, inclusive environment with strong pastoral care, behaviour expectations, and student engagement.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and effectively manage campus operations including staff organisation, compliance, resources, and major events.
  • Support ongoing staff development through coaching, mentoring, feedback, and leadership of professional learning and review processes.
  •  Build strong relationships with families, parish partners, and external agencies while contributing to enrolment processes and community initiatives.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this position you will have the following:

  • Full VIT registration and accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school (or willingness to obtain within required timeframes).
  • Commitment to Catholic identity, values, and mission, and ability to contribute to faith leadership.
  • Successful teaching experience with demonstrated capacity to improve teaching, learning, and student outcomes.
  • Strong leadership capability with experience in leading teams, building staff capacity, and contributing to strategic initiatives.
  • Excellent relational and communication skills with the ability to build positive partnerships across the school community.
  • Effective organisational and resource management skills with the ability to coordinate events, manage priorities, and uphold compliance.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional learning, including further leadership or postgraduate study.
