Role Description/Criteria

The time allocation and roles of this position can be negotiated. 

The successful applicant would be a valued member of staff and be a real contributor to the life of our school and make a difference in the learning life of our students particularly those students with additional needs. They will play a key leadership role in fostering an inclusive and personalised learning environment across the school.

The successful applicant will need to: 

  • Demonstrate a commitment to the values and ethos of a Catholic school 
  • Lead staff in writing PLPs with SMART goals, and in keeping required documentation records for NCCD
  • Foster and develop professional relationships with students, staff and parents
  • Work collaboratively with MACS staff and external allied health professionals, as required 
  • Work collaboratively as part of the Leadership Team
  • Lead staff in supporting and extending their students
  • Be aware of the MACS 2030 Vision and 'Vision for Learning' framework
  • Have knowledge of Explicit Instruction and of the Victorian Curriculum 2.0 
  • Have a deep understanding of assessment tools and analysis of these

  • Current VIT registration
