Role Description/Criteria
The time allocation and roles of this position can be negotiated.
The successful applicant would be a valued member of staff and be a real contributor to the life of our school and make a difference in the learning life of our students particularly those students with additional needs. They will play a key leadership role in fostering an inclusive and personalised learning environment across the school.
The successful applicant will need to:
- Demonstrate a commitment to the values and ethos of a Catholic school
- Lead staff in writing PLPs with SMART goals, and in keeping required documentation records for NCCD
- Foster and develop professional relationships with students, staff and parents
- Work collaboratively with MACS staff and external allied health professionals, as required
- Work collaboratively as part of the Leadership Team
- Lead staff in supporting and extending their students
- Be aware of the MACS 2030 Vision and 'Vision for Learning' framework
- Have knowledge of Explicit Instruction and of the Victorian Curriculum 2.0
- Have a deep understanding of assessment tools and analysis of these

- Current VIT registration
- An understanding of and commitment to the Child Safety Standards in accordance with the Victorian Government's Ministerial Order No. 1379
