Role Description/Criteria

We invite passionate Teachers at every stage of their career to join our vibrant community of dedicated educators. We are seeking a dynamic and adaptable Teacher to join our Year 9 team at the St Mary’s Campus, where students engage in an integrated curriculum that inspires curiosity, independence and connection.

The St Mary’s program offers an exciting and challenging semester of learning that encourages students to be active, engaged and reflective learners. Through a combination of classroom study, immersion experiences, excursions and outdoor education camps, students explore their individuality, creativity and their place within the local community.

Our ideal candidate will demonstrate strong pedagogical skills across a broad range of learning areas such as English, Religious Education, Humanities, Science, the Arts and Technology—and be confident engaging in physical activities and experiential learning. The successful applicant will support students to discover their strengths, develop new skills and thrive in a supportive and stimulating environment.

At MacKillop, educators work collaboratively to prepare students for life both within and beyond the classroom through a rich, learner-centered curriculum designed to help every young person achieve their academic and personal potential.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity however, part-time applications will also be considered. The successful applicant will commence in January 2026.
