Role Description/Criteria
At Bethany we hold the care, safety and well being of children as a central and fundamental responsibility of our school.
We are seeking a passionate, knowledgeable and skilled part time Learning Enhancement Teacher who is confident to use Science of Learning practices to support intervention in both Literacy and Mathematics. Applicants will possess the skills and abilities necessary to provide students with a rich and rewarding educational experience and will embrace a collaborative approach to teaching and learning. The successful applicant will also work with hub teachers (classroom teachers) and leaders to support the students with their learning.
Roles and responsibilities:
- To take small groups of students for intervention-both enabling and extending in literacy and numeracy
- To assess individual students, small groups of students or whole class when needed
- To work in the hubs with teachers, co teaching
- To use knowledge of the Science of Learning and how this implemented in the learning spaces
- To be a part of planning
- To plan and work in a team environment
- To release teachers as needed

Salary in accordance with the Victorian Catholic Education Multi-Enterprise Agreement and available on website www.cecv.catholic.edu.au.

Special Requirements
- accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic School or a commitment to obtain accreditation
- current Victorian Institute of Teaching registration.
