The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Learning Support Officer (LSO) to join our collaborative and dynamic team at our Junior School. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting staff and students during classes in a timely and professional manner. Support will vary from individual 1:1 assistance to working with small groups of students.

This is a part-time fixed term position until the end of the school year, working three days per week (Wednesday to Friday, 8:30am to 3pm). The days and hours for this role are fixed and cannot be changed.

The ideal candidate will bring expertise in supporting diverse learning needs, ensuring all students are engaged to achieve their potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with teachers and the Learning Diversity team on their child's specific learning needs and be accountable for reviewing and interpreting results.
  • Keeping accurate records of support 
  • Attending PSG meetings

About You:

You have previous experience in a similar role and the ability to work collaboratively and energetically within a dynamic organisation.
