St Columba’s College Ltd is a Catholic secondary girls’ school located in Essendon under the stewardship of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and conducted in the tradition of the Sisters of Charity.

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Assistant to the Head of Learning and Teaching to provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to this key leadership role.

This is an ongoing full time position working Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:06pm.

As the Assistant to the Head of Learning and Teaching, you will:

  • Organise and coordinate all administrative activities required to deliver a successful curriculum
  • Support the management of VCE and VASS processes in line with regulatory requirements
  • Assist with curriculum documentation, reporting, and data management
  • Coordinate internal and external communications related to academic programs
  • Prepare materials, schedules, and documentation for meetings and key academic events
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with relevant authorities
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of systems and processes within the Learning and Teaching portfolio

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Demonstrated experience in educational administration or a similar role
  • Strong organisational, time-management, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High-level attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
