Role Description/Criteria
Emmaus College is a proudly Catholic co-educational College in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, established in 1980. The College operates over multiple campuses, at Vermont South, Vermont and Burwood. A Senior Campus for Years 7, 8, 10, 11 and 12 in Vermont South, a Junior Campus for K to Year 6 in Vermont South (1.8km from the Senior Campus) and a Year 9 Campus in Vermont (1.4km from the Senior Campus) and a VET Campus in Burwood.
English Teacher
Applications are invited from passionate and dedicated educators for the role of English Teacher (Years 8 and 10), commencing in Term 3 2026. The successful applicant will demonstrate a commitment to fostering engaging and inclusive learning environments, inspire students to achieve their personal best, and contribute positively to the wider school community. Strong communication skills, a collaborative approach, and a passion for English education are essential.
This is a part-time 0.77 FTE fixed-term position until the end of 2026. However, full-time hours may be available for an appropriately qualified and suitable candidate. Graduates and Permission to Teach applicants are encouraged to apply.
