Role Description/Criteria
Aquinas College wishes to employ a suitably experienced and qualified Audio Visual (AV) Technician who will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and daily support of classroom and event-space AV systems.
This position will be a full time, ongoing opportunity.
Reporting to the Director of Technology, the preferred candidate will combine their hands-on technical knowledge of Crestron and Q-SYS ecosystem with their top-tier customer service to ensure event-space AV systems and IT projects run seamlessly.
The successful applicant will have:
- relevant qualification and evidence of experience in an AV role
- analytical and troubleshooting skills to determine root causes of incidents and recommend corrective actions
- excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate with a variety customers (students, staff, contractors etc)
- the ability to work successfully within a team
- experience working in a school setting would be highly regarded (but not essential)
- a current working with children's check and police check (or be prepared to obtain one)
- a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children
- relevant permissions to work in Australia
The successful applicant will be appointed following a salary assessment according to the Catholic Education Multi-Enterprise Agreement (CEMEA) 2022.
