Role Description/Criteria

We are seeking an engaging and innovative Business Teacher who is passionate about developing students’ understanding of entrepreneurship, economics, finance and ethical decision-making. The successful applicant will inspire students to think critically, solve problems creatively and connect classroom learning to contemporary business and economic contexts.

Central to this role is the ability to confidently deliver a Business curriculum that develops students’ understanding of entrepreneurship, finance, economics, management and ethical decision-making. Through evidence-informed teaching practices, you will deliver engaging learning experiences that develop students’ commercial awareness, financial literacy and enterprise skills

The ideal candidate is a teacher who can connect classroom concepts to real-world business contexts, drawing upon contemporary examples, case studies and emerging trends to make learning meaningful and relevant. 

Our MacKillop College community of talented educators strives to prepare students for life both in and outside the classroom through the delivery of an engaging academic and behavioural curriculum filled with learning experiences designed to encourage every student to achieve their personal and academic potential.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity however, part-time applications will also be considered. The successful applicant can commence Term 3, 2026.

  • expertise in teaching Business Management, Economics or related subjects
  • the ability to design engaging learning experiences that develop analytical thinking, problem-solving and enterprise skills
