Role Description/Criteria

Key Selection Criteria

The successful applicant will demonstrate:

  • Commitment to the ethos and mission of Catholic education.
  • Accreditation to teach Religious Education (or willingness to obtain).
  • Ability to plan, teach and assess engaging learning aligned with the MACS Vision for Instruction and Vision for Engagement.
  • High expectations for student learning and wellbeing.
  • Strong communication, collaboration and reflective practice.
  • Knowledge of and commitment to the Child Safe Standards. 

Essential Requirements

  • Current Victorian Institute of Teaching registration.
  • Relevant teaching qualifications.
  • Accreditation to Teach in a Catholic School (or willingness to obtain).
