We are a passionate and committed Religious Education Teacher to join our learning community. This is an opportunity for an educator who is passionate about Catholic education and committed to helping young people explore faith, develop their understanding of Catholic tradition and engage thoughtfully with the big questions of life.

 

This is an ongoing full time position from 2027.

 

You will:

  • Deliver engaging Religious Education learning experiences that encourage faith, inquiry, reflection and critical thinking.
  • Support students to explore Catholic teachings, Scripture, tradition and their relationship with the wider world.
  • Create an inclusive and respectful learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring their beliefs and perspectives.
  • Contribute to the faith life of the College through liturgy, prayer, retreats and other opportunities for spiritual formation.

 

We want to hear from you if you are an educator who has:

  • Appropriate teaching qualifications and current VIT registration, with relevant Religious Education teaching experience.
  • A strong understanding of Catholic education and a genuine commitment to supporting the faith development of young people.
  • The ability to engage students in thoughtful conversations about faith, values, ethics and the world around them.
  • A collaborative and positive approach, with a commitment to Catholic education and the values of Compassion, Justice, Hope, Truth and Love.
