Brian Hanley, principal of St Monica’s College, Epping, has been recognised for his service to Catholic secondary education in this year’s Queen’s Birthday honours.

Announced yesterday, the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) recognises Mr Hanley’s exceptional contribution to education over 45 years. In his time as principal of St Monica’s, he has overseen significant growth in the college and influenced the lives of more than 40,000 students. His leadership, compassion and management skills have allowed the school to grow while never forgetting the contribution of the Good Samaritan Sisters who founded the college.

This year, Mr Hanley is celebrating his 30th anniversary as principal of St Monica’s College. Congratulations to Brian Hanley OAM on this important recognition.
