Caritas Australia launched its annual campaign Project Compassion at Mercy College, Coburg.

Student leaders from the college took part in a liturgy and commissioning ceremony with Archbishop Peter A Comensoli, along with students and staff from over 50 Catholic schools who took part online. Spanning the six weeks of Lent each year, Project Compassion brings thousands of Australian schools, parishes and supporters together to raise funds for people living in some of the most vulnerable communities around the world.

The 2022 theme, For All Future Generations, invites school and parish communities to learn more about the communities supported by Caritas Australia.
