Acting Minister for Education and Youth, the Hon. Stuart Robert MP visited Our Lady of the Way Catholic Primary School, Wallan East, for a school tour on Wednesday morning.
Minister Robert, joined by Senator Greg Mirabella and Liberal Party candidate for McEwen Richard Welch, was given a tour of school facilities by principal Terry Cooney. The facilities were made possible by a $5 million grant from the Australian Government.
Following the tour, Minister Robert celebrated a staff member’s birthday, joining in on a rousing chorus of ‘happy birthday’ before helping to cut the cake.
