A special milestone was reached at St John’s School, Mitcham, with the school celebrating 150 years of operation.

To mark the event, the school held an open day to bring current and former members of the school community together to celebrate. Past students reminisced over old school photos while enjoying a walk down memory lane to their former learning areas. Current students were able to display their creative pursuits as part of the art exhibition.The origins of the school date back to 1872 when it was established as the first Catholic school in the area. The school has been at its current location since 1960.
