St Monica’s College, Epping, has extended its partnership with Western United Football Club.

This second year of the partnership will see the college have unprecedented access to the club, players and officials. In particular, the college will have access to Connor Pain, one of the more experienced players at Western United, as well as emerging player Jake Najdovski. Students at the college will have the opportunity to train with the players and develop skills, and families will have unique experiences on game days.

‘We are very excited to facilitate our Northern Football Academy students having this special access to the reigning A-League Men champions’, said Principal Brian Hanley. ‘We are proud to be associated with Western United Football Club and welcome them into our college.’

Mark Torcaso, Director of Football at the college, is also the inaugural coach of the leading Western United team in the A-League Women’s competition.
