Tennis courts and a new science centre have been officially opened and blessed at Nazareth College, Noble Park North, following the ‘Opening of the School Year’ Mass.

With significant upgrades, the science rooms offer cutting-edge technology for students at every level. The tennis courts complement the college’s School of Excellence program to foster skill development and improve the level of student participation in sport. ‘Today we bless our new learning spaces and we ask our Lord to make them a place of growth, where each and every one in our community can explore and utilise their talents’, said Principal Sam Cosentino.

The Mass was celebrated by Archbishop Peter A Comensoli, together with Fr Andrzej Madry from St Justin’s, Wheelers Hill, and Fr Samuel Pearson from St Simon’s, Rowville. Archbishop Peter also blessed the badges for the 2023 student leaders and commissioned the students representing the college at the St Vincent de Paul Society.
