Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools (MACS) is once again a major supporter of the Australia’s Best Teachers campaign.

Building on its success in 2023, the campaign invites students, parents and community members to nominate teachers for the special contribution they make to the lives of students in our schools.

‘My nomination as one of Australia’s Best Teachers served as a reminder of the resilience of the human spirit and the importance of community in overcoming adversity’, said Imogen McKillop from St Peter’s School, Bentleigh East, who was nominated in 2023. ‘It reinforced my belief in the power of education to uplift and inspire, even in the face of personal challenges … Small gestures that show an appreciation of teachers have a big impact.’
