MACS is proud to support Australia’s Best Teachers – celebrating exceptional educators

We all have a teacher we remember from our school days… someone who understood us, encouraged us and inspired us to do our best. Today, that same kind of teacher is in classrooms across MACS schools.

So tell us, who is that teacher in your school?

MACS is pleased to once again be part of Australia’s Best Teachers campaign, which returns in 2026 to celebrate exceptional educators shaping young lives.

Now entering its fourth year, this national initiative shines a spotlight on the passion, dedication and impact of teachers across Australia. Students, families and colleagues are invited to nominate educators who are making a mark on the students in their care.

Australia’s Best Teachers campaign was established to elevate the status of the teaching profession and recognise the profound influence educators have on young people. It provides an opportunity to acknowledge the remarkable work taking place in schools every day, and to celebrate teachers who create classrooms and schools where students feel known, valued and supported to flourish.

Last year, thousands of nominations were received across MACS schools, reflecting the quality and commitment of our educators and the appreciation students and their families have for the defining impact of their teachers.

Nominations for Australia’s Best Teachers 2026 are now open, with school communities encouraged to recognise exceptional educators.

Selected teachers will have their stories shared through News Corp publications and digital platforms, helping celebrate the profession and inspire future generations of fabulous educators.
