This year, Catholic Education Week will be celebrated from Sunday 14 March to Sunday 21 March.

Catholic Education Week is an opportunity for all Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of Melbourne to celebrate their Catholic identity, the pivotal role they play within their local community and the strength of the sector.

Events during the week include:

Graduate Teachers Celebration Graduate teachers Catholic Leadership Centre Tuesday 16 March 2.30 pm
Creative Arts Exhibition All schools and the general public Catholic Leadership Centre Monday 15 March to Friday 19 March

Saturday 20 March
9 am – 4 pm

Catholic Education Week will also be marked at a local school level with a wide range of events in individual schools that enables students, staff, friends and family to come together to celebrate the spirit of their school community.

Creative Arts Exhibition

The Creative Arts Exhibition showcases the wonderful artwork of primary and secondary students in the Archdiocese of Melbourne. It reflects their creativity in a broad range of impressive and inspiring works across various disciplines, including painting, photography, sculpture, fashion and film. The exhibition is a powerful tribute to their young lives and gives an insight into their world.

The Creative Arts Exhibition will be held at the Catholic Leadership Centre, 576 Victoria Parade, East Melbourne. The exhibition is open to the public at the following times:

Monday 15 March to Friday 19 March, from 9 am to 4 pm.
Saturday 20 March, from 1 pm to 4 pm.

Note: All activities during Catholic Education Week will be dependent on the COVID-19 restrictions in place at the time of the event.
