Mixed netball grand finalists
19 September 2017
While much of Melbourne is looking towards the AFL grand final, the real action was taking place at Jells Park, Wheelers Hill, last Friday where the mixed netball team from
St Thomas the Apostle School
, Blackburn, played in the Victorian Primary School Sports Association state grand final.
The team played courageously and with determination all day and were rewarded with the state runners up title. The team never gave up and encouraged each other tirelessly. They committed to weekly training for nearly 20 weeks and watching their skills improve was very rewarding. All players should feel extremely proud of their efforts.
