Role Description/Criteria

St Mary's is a school of approximately 270 students 40km north of Melbourne. The northern corridor is the most rapidly growing area of Melbourne, and brings new and exciting opportunities in education.

St Mary's School strives for excellence. An extensive academic and extra-curricular program is integral to the development of the children. An understanding of and the ability to use the Science of Learning in English and Mathematics and evidence based learning practice will be seen as an advantage.

  • a commitment to Catholic education
  • an ability to work with a dedicated team to plan for teaching and learning
  • an understanding of the MACS VFI and Science of Learning or a willingness to learn and implement 
  • effective interpersonal and organisational skills
  • a commitment to Child Safe Standards and the wellbeing of children
  • current VIT registration.
