Role Description/Criteria

At St Joseph the Worker Primary School, Learning Support Officers (LSOs) support students with diverse needs. Learning Support Officers liaise with classroom teachers and our Learning Diversity Leader to support and assist children with their learning.

We are seeking an individual who has a desire to make a difference in the lives of young people at our school. The successful candidate will be working Monday to Friday during school hours.

We require a learning support officer to join our community for the remainder of 2025, with the possibility of continuing in 2026.

The successful candidate must have completed Certificate IV in Education Support.  
 

All staff members are expected to maintain a commitment to confidentiality and Child Safety in keeping with our Child Safety Policy and the St Joseph the Worker Primary School Code of Conduct (see attached).
