Role Description/Criteria

Role Description

This position is a part time (ongoing) role, teaching a Language Pathways program from Year Prep to Year Six. The FTE is 0.60 and the preferred days are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, though this is negotiable if required.

 

The team member we are looking for:

• has strong social and emotional intelligence

• is confident in bringing expertise in LOTE to our community and open to being coached into new learnings

• is excited by working in an open, flexible learning environment

• is able to demonstrate expertise in teaching a language program (Italian preferable)

• is able to communicate effectively with parents and colleagues

• will actively support the Catholic identity of the school community.

Special Requirements:

• accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school

• Victorian Institute of Teaching registration

• current Police Check

• evidence of a commitment to the safety, wellbeing and protection of all children.
