  • Be a team player who is committed to ongoing professional learning.
  • Have an ability to foster positive relationships with students, staff and parents.
  • Have a current VIT Registration.
  • Team players who thrive in a collaborative environment and are open to feedback and growth.
  • Participate in the implementation of the MACS Flourishing Learners Vision For Instruction.
  • Have opportunities for external Professional Development

Key Selection Criteria:

  • Experience in leading or supporting wellbeing and mental health initiatives within a primary school context.
  • Strong knowledge of Social Emotional Learning (SEL), trauma-informed practice and student behaviour support strategies.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with teachers, students and families to support mental health and wellbeing.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple programs and priorities effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and coaching skills.
  • A commitment to Catholic education values, inclusive practices and the promotion of student safety, equity and wellbeing.

The successful applicant will have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic Education, be familiar and comply with the school's Child-Safe Policy and Code of Conduct.

Special Requirements

  • Full registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching
  • A willingness to obtain accreditation to teach in a Catholic School
