Role Description/Criteria

Emmaus College is a proudly Catholic co-educational College in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne established in 1980. The College operates over three campuses, at Vermont South and Burwood. A Senior Campus for Years 7, 8, 10, 11 and 12 in Vermont South, a Junior Campus for K to Year 6 in Vermont South (1.8km from the Senior Campus) and a Year 9 Campus in Burwood.

Applications are invited from experienced leaders for the role of Director of Learning, commencing 27 January 2026. The role requires a leader who seeks to build upon programs already operating effectively within the College and introduce key initiatives that will positively impact learning and educational outcomes. The successful applicant will be appointed to Emmaus College as a teacher in an ongoing capacity. The leadership role will be for an initial period of three years. 
 
The successful applicant will be committed to the ethos of a Catholic school.
