Role Description/Criteria

St Columba’s College Ltd is a Catholic secondary girls’ school located in Essendon under the stewardship of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and conducted in the tradition of the Sisters of Charity.

Help us create a safe, compliant, and thriving school environment! We’re seeking a proactive Safety, Risk & Compliance Manager to lead health, safety, risk, and compliance initiatives across our College. This is a fixed term part time (0.5FTE) position until the end of 2026 commencing asap.

As the Safety, Risk and Compliance Manager your key responsibilities will include:

  • Oversee risk management, compliance, and workplace safety frameworks.
  • Lead emergency planning, training, and incident reporting.
  • Provide expert advice to leadership on risk and compliance strategies.
  • Promote a strong safety culture across our community.

We are looking for:

  • Qualifications in WHS, Risk, Compliance, or similar.
  • Experience in safety, risk, and compliance management.
  • Strong organisation, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Commitment to child safety and inclusive practices.

Role Description
