Role Description/Criteria
St Anthony's Primary School is looking for a Performing Arts teacher to help our students
🎤 find their voice (literally and figuratively)
🎶 Create magical performances that wow audiences
🎭 Make the stage feel like home for every student
The successful applicant will inspire creativity in acting, singing, dancing, or all three
- show enthusiasm, demonstrate a positive mindset
- demonstrate commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children
- bring a sense of joy and vibrancy to the learning environment
- demonstrate an understanding of effective teaching strategies
- work collaboratively with others
The successful applicant must:
- be committed to professional learning and ongoing improvement
- be committed to upholding our High Expectations for all students
- familiar with legal obligations relating to child safety (e.g mandatory reporting) and demonstrate a commitment to our Child Safe policies and procedures
- hold Victorian Institute of Teaching Registration
- commitment to Catholic Education and the mission of the Catholic Church
- have a willingness to promote the Catholic Ethos
- have highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
- be available to work Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday
