Role Description/Criteria

St Anthony's Primary School is looking for a Performing Arts teacher to help our students 
🎤 find their voice (literally and figuratively)
🎶 Create magical performances that wow audiences
🎭 Make the stage feel like home for every student

The successful applicant will inspire creativity in acting, singing, dancing, or all three

  • show enthusiasm, demonstrate a positive mindset 
  • demonstrate commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children
  • bring a sense of joy and vibrancy to the learning environment
  • demonstrate an understanding of effective teaching strategies
  • work collaboratively with others 

The successful applicant must:

  • be committed to professional learning and ongoing improvement
  • be committed to upholding our High Expectations for all students 
  • familiar with legal obligations relating to child safety (e.g mandatory reporting) and demonstrate a commitment to our Child Safe policies and procedures
  • hold Victorian Institute of Teaching Registration
  • commitment to Catholic Education and the mission of the Catholic Church 
  • have a willingness to promote the Catholic Ethos
  • have highly developed interpersonal and communication skills 
  • be available to work Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday
