Role Description/Criteria
St Brigid’s Catholic Primary School in Mordialloc is seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated graduate or early career teacher to join our talented teaching team. The position will be a full-time contract position for 1 year, commencing 27 January 2026 with the possibility of becoming ongoing. Class level allocation to be advised. St Brigid’s is committed to the safety, wellbeing and protection of all children in our care.
We are seeking a graduate or an early career teacher who is committed to working collaboratively with their colleagues to provide a differentiated learning and teaching program that puts each student at the centre of all they do.
The successful applicants will need to demonstrate:
- a strong commitment to the ethos of Catholic Education
- the ability to develop relationships with parents, staff and students
- an understanding of current curriculum documents and contemporary teaching and learning practices in line with our MACS Vision for Instruction.
- an ability to provide learning experiences that are cognitively engaging, to a range of learning styles and abilities
- an ability to use data and assessment tools to improve student learning outcomes
- the ability to work as a team
- an ability to use digital technologies to enhance the learning for the students

The successful candidate:
- requires VIT registration
- should have, be undertaking or intend to undertake RE Accreditation.
