Role Description/Criteria
St Thomas the Apostle Blackburn is seeking a teacher who is committed to working collaboratively with their colleagues to provide a differentiated learning and teaching program that puts each student at the centre of all they do. An understanding of the science of learning as per MACS 2030 Vision for Instruction is an advantage.
The successful applicant will have the capacity to:
- build and maintain positive relationships with students, colleagues and parents
- support the Catholic ethos of the school and the RE program
- provide effective differentiated teaching in the key areas of literacy and numeracy
- provide engaging, contemporary learning opportunities across the curriculum
- use data to make informed decisions about learning and teaching
- work collaboratively with staff

The successful candidates:
- require VIT registration (full, provisional or meet the conditions for provisional registration for those completing courses awaiting transcripts)
- should have, be undertaking or intend to undertake RE Accreditation.
