St Columba's College Ltd is a Catholic secondary girls' school located in Essendon under the stewardship of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and conducted in the tradition of the Sisters of Charity.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated VCE Leader to provide strategic leadership and oversight of the College’s VCE program. This role is central to ensuring that every student is challenged, supported, and inspired to achieve her personal best.

The VCE Leader will work collaboratively with Learning Area Leaders and teachers to promote excellence in teaching and learning, ensure the effective implementation of VCAA requirements, and foster a culture of high expectations, integrity, and continuous improvement.

This is a POL3 position for 2026-2027 with an ongoing teaching position.

You will:

  • Lead the development and delivery of a high-quality VCE program.
  • Support teachers in implementing effective teaching, learning, and assessment practices.
  • Analyse student achievement data to inform improvement strategies.
  • Oversee VCE administration, including examinations, results analysis, and compliance requirements.
  • Support students and families with subject selection, pathways advice, and academic progress.
  • Promote a culture of high expectations and continuous improvement.
