Role Description/Criteria

St Theresa’s Catholic School Albion is situated in the western suburbs of Melbourne. 

We have a diverse community of students and a committed staff who support all students.

 

St Theresa’s is seeking a full time classroom teacher for Gr 5/6  to commence in Term 1 2026. Graduates are encouraged to apply.

 

 

Selection Criteria:

  • Understanding of the key features of contemporary learning
  • Knowledge of current best practice in literacy and numeracy
  • Ability to work within teams
  • Understanding of EAL learners
  • A willingness to  gather, analyse and use data to inform teaching

 

 

All Applicants must have:

  • current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching with an up to date Criminal Record check.
  • an understanding of the Child Safe Standards.
  • a commitment to the ethos of Catholic Education
