Role Description/Criteria
St Christopher’s Primary School is seeking a Learning and Teaching Leader to assist in our ongoing pursuit of excellence and “not letting any student slip through the cracks”.
The position will be full time beginning at the start of the 2026 School year and will be a POL 4.
This position is best suited to a leader who is passionate, organised and motivated, with a desire to make a difference. The right candidate will work well independently and collaboratively in teams.
The successful candidate will possess a high level of interpersonal and communication skills, prioritisation and organisational skills including the ability to make decisions and meet deadlines.
Skills and Proven Work Abilities
- Previous experience and/or skills leading school improvement
- A professional working knowledge of the MACS Vision for Instruction and Engagement
- The ability to dialogue with staff in a collegial manner to achieve improved learning outcomes for students
- The ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders such as parents and MACS to achieve the best outcomes for students
- Well-developed interpersonal skills including a demonstrated ability to work and communicate within a team environment
- Proven organisational skills, flexibility and a capacity to show initiative in working independently and within a team.
