Role Description/Criteria

The School Bursar / Administration Officer plays a key role in the daily operations of the school. This position is essential to ensuring the efficient and smooth running of all administrative and financial processes. Responsibilities include managing a comprehensive computerised system for student and staff records; processing purchase orders and banking; maintaining personnel records; and providing administrative support to the Principal and the wider school community.

  • Demonstrate commitment to the mission and ethos of Catholic Education
  • Ensure compliance with MACS Finance Procedures Manual
  • Hold a current Working With Children Check and National Criminal History Check.
  • Communicate effectively, with proven experience engaging with staff, students, and parents.
  • Hold current first aid
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity in all work
  • Coordinate the office and support the Principal and Leadership Team
  • Communicate effectively to support smooth school operations
  • Support a healthy and safe work environment
  • Comply with Child Safety Policy, Standards, and Code of Conduct.
  • Perferably have experince in a school setting

The role is a part time equivalent (FTE) position, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday - 8.30am - 4.00pm

The salary will be in accordance with the  2022 CEMEA Category B Education Support Employee and level of skill.
