Parade College is a member of the national body of Catholic schools known as Edmund Rice Education Australia (EREA). Parade College is the oldest Edmund Rice School in Australia, dating back to 1871, and has a proud history of excellence in the education and pastoral care. Parade offers a multitude of curriculum options for students, whatever their interest may be; from academic, sporting, music, visual arts and trade options.
The College is pleased to announce, our VCE Vocational Major (VCE VM) program at Parade College has become co-educational in 2025. The College welcomes full-time female student enrolments for the first time in our long history, into Year 11 in 2025. Starting in Term 1 2025, our VCE Vocational Major program, based at our Preston campus, has expanded our student offerings by introducing a new Tertiary Pathways Program. The Tertiary Pathways Program includes a second stream of our highly successful Sport Academy, along with a new Business Academy. Both academies provide a bespoke educational opportunity that allow students to gain direct entry into a number of undergraduate tertiary courses at La Trobe University upon completion of the two-year course.

The Position
Applications are invited for the exciting opportunity within the Development Office as the Alumni Officer at Parade College.
We are looking for a dynamic and highly organised candidate to join our supportive and multi-faceted team. The Alumni Officer is a member of the Development Office, responsible for strengthening the College’s relationships with its alumni and wider community. The role plays a key part in fostering a strong, connected College community by engaging with past students of Parade College.
This role offers variety, creativity, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact developing and implement strategies to build lifelong relationships with alumni networks through regular communication and events, while also identifying meaningful ways for alumni to share their stories and experiences with current students.
The ideal candidate will bring strong project coordination skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities. From supporting major College events to creating engaging, you will be a key contributor to the vibrant life of our College. You will be suitably qualified and/or experienced, a customer focused professional with sound experience in a similar role, known for their relationship building and management.
All Staff are expected to support and participate in the faith life of the College, including commitment to the College's Mission, ethos, and participate in ongoing professional development and learning.

The position is a part-time (FTE 0.6) ongoing position, commencing January 2026. This position is classified as an Education Support Employee Level 3 position attracting all school holiday entitlements.
The Development Office
The Development Office support the mission, vision and values of the College community, by promotion of the College's aspirations and achievements through: marketing and communications; enrolments; development and fundraising; the community database; and engagement across community stakeholders and groups.
