Role Description/Criteria
We are seeking a dedicated Removalist to join our team on a short-term casual basis to play a vital role in warehousing, storing and moving furniture and other items. This will enable the school to be prepared for its Capital Building Project at the commencement of the 2026 school year. This position is responsible for ensuring that the school is kept neat, tidy, safe, and hygenic, while contributing to the overall beautification and safety of the environment.
The Removalist will work closely with various personnel, ultimately reporting to the school Maintenance Officer. The role also requires strict adherence to Workplace Health and Safety standards.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong work ethic who is looking for some short-term school holiday employment.
Working Hours: 7.6 hours per day from Monday 8 December to Tuesday 16 December (inclusive) and Friday 23 January to Wednesday 28 January (inclusive).
Wage will be commensurate with the successful applicant's experience. Base wage is $24.89 per hour.
