Role Description/Criteria
St Columba's College Ltd is a Catholic secondary girls' school located in Essendon under the stewardship of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and conducted in the tradition of the Sisters of Charity.

We are seeking an engaging and committed House Leader (POL3) to guide students in their academic, social, emotional, and spiritual development while strengthening the culture and identity of their House. There is an ongoing teacher position attached to the role.
You will:
- Provide leadership, direction, and pastoral support for students within your House
- Build a strong sense of identity, belonging, and engagement through House activities and programs
- Support student wellbeing through proactive strategies, case management, and strong family partnerships
- Mentor and collaborate with Housegroup Teachers to support consistent pastoral care practices
- Contribute to whole-school events, student leadership initiatives, and community-building activities
- Work closely with the Wellbeing and Learning teams to support each student’s holistic development
We want to hear from you if you are an educator who:
- Holds current registration (VIT) and relevant tertiary qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in student wellbeing, pastoral care, or leadership
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills
- Values collaboration, professional growth, and student-centred learning
